The extra virgin olive oil sold under the Voglie di Sicilia brand is produced entirely by the Saverio Milazzo farm, which owns the brand and oversees every stage of the production process, from harvesting and pressing to the final bottling.
The oil harvested in October has a more intense and pungent flavour; the quantity produced is lower, but the quality is higher. The oil harvested in November has a lighter and more delicate flavour; the quantity produced is higher, but at the expense of quality.
With the exception of extra virgin olive oil, all products sold under the Voglie di Sicilia brand are sourced from local producers in the Belice Valley, based in towns neighbouring Castelvetrano such as Salemi, Partanna, Santa Ninfa and Gibellina.
The label on each product includes a list of allergens, as required by law.
